I received this gorgeous dress in the mail last week thanks to Sugarlips! I instantly fell in love with the dainty look and feel of it. The lace adds the perfect innocent and girly touch. Today, I had to pair it with tights as it was cooler and rainy. Now I know this dress will be a staple in my closet for both the summer and winter months! It's good quality so I know it'll last me a while!
On a side note, B and I officially became home owners today! So excited! Only two more days and we'll live there!

T minus 7 days

7 days left until I move from the city to the burbs! From renting to owning! I can't tell you how excited I am. I'm so excited that I am going to have a packing party. Ok, not really. I'm enlisting a couple friends to help me with my packing as I haven't even started yet. I hate packing. Where do you start? Most people would say start with the stuff you're not going to use. But I use everything. So where do you start after that? Hmm?

Procrastinating some more and heading to the pool sounds fab...

I just love having a twin sister that's the same size as me. It's like going shopping, but not having to spend any money 'cause I just ask her. This top I borrowed from her and I LOVE it. It's perfect for spring. I forgot how much I love floral prin.

I should be barred from buying birthday, Christmas or any gifts for people before the actual day. I can never keep it a secret. I always have to tell them because I get so excited. Even when they tell me they don't want to know I sit there and try and convince them that they want to know. My twin sister is the same way. I'm not sure who we get it from. My mom and dad are both good at keeping secrets. Anyways, B liked his gift, and his birthday is tomorrow. I tried real hard...kinda.

I looked at the photos I took today and was instantly reminded of Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz. Not when I put the outfit on, only when I saw the photos. I did have a boring white cardigan over this at first and thought BORING. I must say I am loving having bare legs. So much better than the suffocating tights we have to wear in the fall and winter months. Our pool opens this weekend so I'm hoping to get these lights sabres some sunshine =)

What a glorious weekend we had here in Vancouver! The warmest weekend so far! I got to enjoy it for half a day on Sunday. We took B's mom to Granville Island for lunch at Bridges. If you're ever in Vancouver, they have the best patio on the island - in my opinion anyways. I've included a couple photos that I was able to take in the short amount of time we were there.
