Boxing Day Finds

I went Boxing day after shopping today and I have to say the sales weren't as good as I was hoping they'd be. I paid full price for everything, but the Kimono from F21 and theTheit bag above. 

The olive green jacket is so cute! It has a cute little bow on the back. 

The top has little stars on it. I found it mashed in with same random shirts.

The skirt is a lace material. I have a hard time pulling off below the knee skirts 'cause I'm so short, so I'm hoping I can pull it off with some heels.. 

I tried to look specifically for stuff I could wear to work and after trying on items that weren't work related, I put them back. I was quite proud of myself. 

I can't wait for this camera bag to arrive in the mail. I like how it doesn't look like a camera bag.

On Friday night the family and I went to Bright Nights in Stanley Park and rode the Christmas Train through the forest. It was really neat and very chilly. I haven't been there since I was a child. Defiantly something to check out if you're ever in Vancouver during the holidays.

And what Christmas would be complete without family game night. My favourtie family to play games with because they are so funny!

Grilled Cheese

So tired today. Just got home from finishing up my Christmas shopping, wrapped all the parcels, and now I am finally able to sit. It's 8:06 and I'd like to go to sleep. And did you notice I said parcel? Did you think I actually called presents or gifts that? I don't. Just like I don't call money Green.  And when I am tired I ramble....

I wanted to share with you this little street vendor that I've passed by many times on my trips to H&M.  They make grilled cheese samwich's anyway you want them, with any cheese and any bread. While I don't eat grilled cheese often, I really wanted to try it out and it was worth it. And who doesn't like grilled cheese. DElightful. 

I do recommend leaving yourself some time if you're on say your lunch like I was because these are all the people waiting for theirs.  I was 15 minutes late.

Man-oh-man is there a lot to know with these cameras. It'll take me a while to catch on to some of it, but I'm hoping I'll be able to play around with it more this weekend with all the festivities that are going to take place!

Annnnd here's my new look....for the time being. It should go lighter and lighter each time I wash it.

Stop staring at me

You can't see it, obviously, but right behind my handsome camera man and what I am staring at behind him is a gigantic mound of laundry that we've been neglecting for oh a couple weeks now. It's not like we have to sit there and watch it while it's being washed, and we don't have to go to a laundry mat (is that what it's called? I have a feeling it's called a laundro mat...), so why is it such a big deal to just do it? I'll never know!

Also, here are more shoes I got from Gojane. Despite what some people might think, they are comfortable. I can walk all the way to work in them and they make me like 5 inches taller! They are head turners that's for sure. They have almost the same ones at Aldo for $120 and I found these on Gojane for $25!

These wedges are another purchase from GoJane and I'm sad to say that they are too small for my feets. They are soo cute and would be comfortable had they fit. When I walked outside to take these photos I got two whistles. I think it's the shoes they enjoyed. Good thing I'm bag lady and had an extra pair of shoes I wore on my trek to work.

Leopard print is a new-er favourite trend of mine, as are loafers. I purchased these loafers from GoJane. I'd have a link for them, buuut unfortunately they're sold out. Who wouldn't buy them at $20.00.? They're so fun and comfortable!

How much I love this shirt and all prints with little animals on them? Today this made my serious legal assistant attire less serious and fun. Yes, I think that's it. Animal prints are fun and all legal assistants should wear them to make there day a little fun-er which I'm sure most need.

GOjane is one of my favourite online shops to get shoes from because they are sooo affordable and comfortable. It can be quite pricey to ship to Canada and it does take over two weeks depending where you are. If you live by the US border or have a friend who goes across often (thanks Jen!), it's worth it to pick them up from a letter carrier or letter box.

This dress

I went to H&M one day on my lunch break, had four things in my hands to try on, one of them being this dress, tried them all on and took everything, but this dress. I got back to work and couldn't stop thinking about it! I saw a dress similar to this one at Aritzia and fell in love, but wasn't ready to spend $80.00 on it. I wasn't looking for a dress anyways. 

Anyways, back to my story. I couldn't stop thinking about this dress, so I went back after work and purchased it. Ever happen to you? You try something on, then say "Nah" and leave it behind only to regret it later on. Within a matter of hours you're back at the store, in line with it! Me me me!
