Esme and Ryder

Sweater: H&M, Skirt: American Apparel, Shoes: Ardene, Glasses: Zenni

Oh hi there! I missed posting yesterday for a very good reason. We got these little angels. The fluffy one is Esme (EZ-me) and the other grey one is Ryder. They are sister and brother.
We are overjoyed with how wonderful these two are and so happy we were able to take them both.
I am such an animal person.  I haven't had an animal since my last kitty, Ms. Jones, died. I forgot how soothing and comforting and how happy they can make a person.
They are definitely my babies before babies ;-)

Bangin'

Dress: H&M, Shoes: Converse, Necklace: Aldo
I did it! I actually went through with getting bangs. Holy smokes what a change. I will admit it's still taking some getting used to. I needed a change though. I've had the same hair style for ages.
The strangest thing about getting bangs is looking up. It's like looking up at a Palapa tree. If any of you have fresh bangs or fringe you'll know what I'm talking about - I think.
Hair grows back. I decided to just go for it and get them for this reason. If I don't like them I can always grow them out. Not a huge deal.
For now, I do like them, so they can stay =)

Kris Jenner

Blazer and Leggings: H&M, Top: Old Navy, Shoes: Converse

Today's outfit was inspired by Kris Jenner. Not actually. I put this outfit on this morning and said this is something Kris Jenner would wear. Totally.
Also in the news this morning, I was half way to work and I realized I only put half my makeup on. How did that happen? One can easily get distracted at 5:20 a.m.
In other news, I'm preparing myself for a big change this weekend! Stay tuned to see what I've done!
Don't you hate surprises...
Have a great weekend!

Date Night

Top and Dress: F21, Wedges: Aldo, Sunnies: Ray Ban

It was date night tonight. Just husband and I. And it was great and MUCH needed. I feel like our lives haven't stopped since we got back from Maui.
It's ok though, we have our whole lives together =)

Case of the Monday's

Blazer: H&M, Tank and Skirt: F21, Shoes: Random Store in the US, Camera Bag: Theit, Watch: Marc Jacobs (gifted)
Yep that's me. Not the best day today. This morning I sneezed about 25 times. I sure hope I'm not catching a cold!
I hope you all are having a better Monday than me!

Purrrr

Cardi: Old, Dress: F21, Shoes: Converse, Glasses: Zenni
There's been a couple late nights so I haven't been able to post anything. Husband and I are currently in search of a little kitty kitten to add to our family. We're going to adopt as opposed to purchasing from a rediculous pet store who most likely got them from a breeder to which I am disgusted by. Poor animals.
We hope to have one in the next week or so and I'll definately be posting pics!

It's going to be over

The last of the wedding celebrations is Saturday. Amazing how fast time went by! It's all going to be over =(

Thoughts on marriage

Becoming a wife has been the craziest, most fulfilling experience that has ever happened me. I guess some people would say obviously, until you have kid/s which to me sounds even crazier.
The strangest feeling through the whole getting married experience was probably the day before the wedding and the day of (but before the actual ceremony). I felt like my 29 years flashed before my eyes. My entire identity has been "Carrie Anne Smith" and now it's changed. My name, since I was born, has changed. I'm now Carrie Anne Corrall. It's so weird.
Me and my dadda

Mama, me, Dadda, Sister, Brother

Husband, Mom-in-law, Dad-in-law * Corralls*

While my mom is remarried and my sister is married, which already had them with different last names then me - that last day and a half I kinda internally had to say goodbye to my brother and my dad. Not goodbye in the sense of goodbye nice knowin' you, but goodbye in the sense of separation. Unless people see that we have similar physical features that can tip people off that we're family, strangers who don't know us or can't see it wouldn't know that we are. We don't have the same last name anymore.
Many people asked me over my Maui wedding vacation, if I was "okay." While I was the happiest I had ever been, the wedding, my wedding, was still a lot to take in.
I guess this whole marriage thing will take some getting used to and maybe I'm thinking too much about it. But this Carrie Smith was born sensitive.
I still feel like a child who plays dress up wedding. Not actual wedding. I'm all grown up.
I have a husband and I am a wife.
A wife =)

Slowly getting back into regular life

Tank: Dynamite, Jeggings: American Eagle, Wedges: Random store, Bracelet: Gift
I tell ya, Maui to Vancouver time is only 3 hours behind, but boy I tell ya, that three extra hours is really kicking my caboose.
I hope to be able to share with you some of my wedding/maui photos once I have a chance to sort through all 1700 of them. And that doesn't include the ones our photographer took!
