Canada Day is on Sunday which means we get Monday off. Woop! My brain is gladly shutting down. It's been a long week I tell ya.

Inconsistent outfits and a side of stain

The way the weather has been here in Vancouver it's hard to get into a groove with spring and summer clothing which happens to be my favourite. Luckily today was sunny so I had the chance to wear my new jersey dress from H&M without tights. I have feeling our summer this year is going to be the same as last. Not-that-warm. Good thing I have Maui to look forward to at the end of the summer!
On a side note, I believe the stain gods are always out to get anyone wearing white. Somehow I placed my right elbow in my bowl of rice pasta today. Awesome.

Until B and I are on our way to be Maui'd! Get it? Married Maui'd hehe. I can't believe how fast the time is going! I'm so excited to be going with all my family and close friends. If it's anything like my brother and sister-in-laws wedding in Mexico it's going to be a doosy!

This weekend was fairly busy at our new home. We added some minor upgrades which is so fun to do! It's hard not to want to do everything at once! I think we need to learn to pace ourselves. I'm sure our pocket books will appreciate it as well =)

Pretty in Pink

I wore this dress to work and my boss said I was pretty in pink. I love this dress. It's going to be perfect for summer.

I think I'm still exhausted from the move because I haven't had the energy to even put my hair in a braid. I couldn't even twist it up into a bun thingy. Or it could be that fact that I get up in the morning 2 hours earlier than before. Geez. I also lost my brush. Not that I brush my hair much anyways.

Anyhow, I'm hoping to get back into the groove of things soon.

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your comments on my last post!

A lot has happened this past week! We're all moved and getting settled in. We moved on Thursday and all the boxes were unpacked by Saturday morning. I'm not one to sit around and stare at them. 

We're loving our new place! It's really surreal to wake up in the morning and know that we OWN. Everything is ours and we can do what we want with it. My calves are sure getting a work out with three floors. Jeepers. B even has his own man-cave. 

And this is my teeny backyard. It's a good starter. I can't wait to fill it up with flowers. I love flowers. So this outfit is fitting.
