New mom taste
Last night I felt like a new mom. Or at least I got a taste of what it would be like to be a new mom. I probably only had a few hours of sleep. Our kittens wanted to play and purr all night, while my husband wanted to train them that it's sleeping time - getting up and out of bed probably 10 times. Our bed also makes a wonderful horn type sound when he gets in an out of it. Only on his side though.
Needless to say I'm exhausted today and at the same time I'm trying to fight a cold that's been taunting me for the last week.
Oh happy Tuesday!

Topshop review
Jacket: Guess (old), Sweater: Topshop, Leggings: H&M, Boots/scarf: Aldo, Bag: Theit, Bracelets: Tiffany's/Gifted
As you know from my last post Topshop Vancouver opened yesterday. Before going I was actually nervous that I'd want to buy the whole store! When I got there I text my sister and said ommmmggg. There was so many nice clothes there! I didn't know where to start! The store is kind of a maze. Might take me a few times to figure out where everything is. After browsing through the endless amounts of jackets, sweaters, pants, and jewelry, it struck me. Topshop is a lot like Forever 21 and H&M just with a larger price tag. The quality of clothing is about the same. I'd rate quality at - Forever 21 being last, then H&M, then Topshop. I was kind of disappointed! I kept saying to myself, I could probably get something just like this at H&M for cheaper.
I will say that Topshop is more my style though. I like how most of there clothes aren't "out there" with crazy patterns and designs that take away from a piece. Most of the stuff I'd wear. With subtle studs on a sweater or patches on a jacket. I also like how there is a "Petite" section. A lot of the times for me it's hard to find stuff that fits or there's a store where all the smalls, 2s or 4s are sold out. So this section is perfect. There is also a "Tall" section.
All in all I do love the store. I could certainly buy the whole store and I did leave with a sweater (pictured above).
I'll be back again for sure.

Topshop Tomorrow!
You guys, Topshop Vancouver opens tomorrow! I can't wait. I probably won't sleep tonight. Ok, I probably will duh, but I'm just so excited. To be honest, I've been to lazy to order anything online and I heard the small selection they had in The Bay usually wasn't worth it.
Then I heard Vancouver would be getting an actual store so I decided to wait.
Topshop and I have a date at 12:40 pm tomorrow. So excited.

Little red coat
Jacket: H&M, Jeans: Lucky Brand, Boots: Hunter
Thanks so much everyone for all your nice comments on my last post =)
H&M is having their outerwear sale right now. Some of their coats are on sale at 50% off. This one wasn't, but at $49.95 it's still a steal. In Vancouver, BC, you can NEVER have enough coats. Especially since you'll be wearing one for 7 months out of the year. And this little red coat is perfect for fall and winter.
Happy Monday!

Scarf
This scarf from Aldo is going to be my staple item this winter. I hate itchy scarfs and this isn't. It's so soft. I saw it the other day, tried it on and walked away. It was sunny and warm that day. But yesterday was COLD so I went back and bought it.... er..two. Lucky for me they were the were the last of the two colors I wanted!

Outfit and Thanksgiving
Bad blogger. I should have told you these jeans were on sale 2 weeks ago at Old Navy for $19. I got mine. Sorry. Although some of you may have already known! There still on sale just not for that price.
Love them.
I spent Thanksgiving weekend (hence no post Monday) at my dad's cabin - just the family. It was nice to have "family time". Even though GG and my sisters husband were missing.
Here are a couple photos from the weekend:
A GIN tree! What GIN is made of.
I hope all you Canadian readers have a fab Thanksgiving!

My short dress brings all the boys to the yard Pt. 2
I have to do a Pt. 2 from my previous post on this dress. This dress is not made to be worn with tights. I think it's more of a tunic than a dress. I still love it though, I'm going to try it with skinnies one day as an alternative.
I was trying on these boots in the store today and getting your heel in these is a tad difficult. I had to bend over to do it. Much to the horror of my friend who was sitting behind me at the other end of the store who happened to see my panties. Embarrassing to say the least when I heard her shrieking. Oops.
These boots however were well worth the embarrassment. I've had my eye on these for a while, but finally came to terms that I would never find them in my size. Today was my lucky day because I found them at the Aldo outlet store. I was there a month ago and they didn't have my size. Yay me, and my lucky panties. Just kidding, I don't have lucky panties.
