Ode to Hunters and to help a friend out

Every time I wear this dress to work my boss always says NICE NEW DRESS!! Errr, it's not new and you compliment it every time you see it uhhh hmmm, but THANKS! Nothing like a nice compliment on what you're wearing from your boss. Oh H&M, how you've brought me many compliments from this guy =)

I'd really like to know...

If anybody out there can give me instructions on how to make one of those collage type of pics. You know (or maybe you don't- hehe) where you have various pieces of clothing, make up etc. in like a collage form. Like the "It List" that some people do.

If not, that's ok too. I'll just keep searching Google until something works or makes sense.

Weddings

I'm all about weddings right now. I will watch, read and listen to everything weddings. This recently included watching Kim Kardashian's wedding. While it was all entertainment one thing Kim said struck me. Sometimes people who are getting married forget what weddings are, and why they are doing it. I have brief moments, where I get so caught up in the moment that I forget to put me and my fiance first. This wedding is about us and our union and the beginning of our lives together. And the process leading up to this union is about us. Us us us.  I need to think like this more often so I can start making some big decisions.

Weddings are hard people.

 This is the second dress I have bought from ASOS and I think I have found my new favourite online shop. This dress is very airy and light and the long sleeves make it perfect for fall/winter.The first one I bought I haven't worn yet and you'll see it when I'm back from Mexico (I bought it for my brother's wedding). I can't wait to wear it, it's so cute!

Bag lady

I was going to wear heels with this outfit today, but I'll tell you one thing...or a couple. It's very frustrating carrying a lunch bag, a shoe bag, a purse, an umbrella and trying to shuffle around an ipod and phone while walking to work, hopping on the train and walking the rest of the way to work.  I am a firm believer that heels make your legs and entire body look way better than flats ever will. Just sayin. I love heels. I love everything about them and wish I could wear them more often. I just hate being bag lady on my way to work.

Days until I leave for Mexico on my first family vacation eveeer. Well actually my brother is getting married in the Mayan Riviera and it's the first time my entire immediate family (and friends) has been on a plane together. I seriously can't wait to spend a whole 7 days with them away, celebrating my brother and soon-to-be-sister in law's marriage <3 Eeeek!

Seeing Red

 Fall has arrived that's for sure. Friday night I was waiting for the snow to fall. It wasn't supposed to, but it sure felt like it could! I can't believe it is already October 3! Where has the time gone??

On a side note, it seems I always match when I wear my Hunters (the red on the boot). I don't intentionally do it, although I do normally have to match. Even as a young girl I always had to have matching clothes on.

Gossip Girl time...
