Ch-ch-ch changes

Maxi: H&M, Cardi: Old Navy, Sandals: Aldo, Necklace: F21

 First off, I'd like to say that my stomach is killing me. I feel like something is pushing from the inside out. I am not pregnant, but I can say I am going to be a big cry baby when I am.
Second of all, I was wearing the most comfortable outfit today, yet felt sooo uncomfortable.Ugh...
Third, look how beautiful it was today in Vancouver. This is the park you see behind most of my pictures. It was absolutely delightful today!
And finally, there will be some ch-ch-ch-changes in the hair department soon! I'm so nervous!
Stay tuned!

Exciting!

Cardi: Old Navy, Tank: F21, Pants: Dynamite, Shoes: Walmart, Necklace: Gift/Sissy
 Game 1 Round 2. Enough said. Oh wait and I bought 2 new pretty colours of nail polish. Almost as exciting as the hockey playoff's.
I hope everyone is having a lovely week!

On to the next!

Skirt: ??, Top: Garage, Tights: H&M, Shoes/necklace: Ardene

In case you haven't heard, the Canucks won last night! I couldn't watch any of the game as I felt like I was going to hurl my anxiety was so high. I chose to listen to the game from afar. Millionaire Matchmaker, The Real Housewives and Dancing with the Stars kept me company and ultimately became my drug free Adavan. The game went into overtime. By this point I had to put my ipod on and turn up the volume. I thought, if something big happens I will hear B in the next room go crazy. Sure enough something big did happen and there were joyous hugs all around and a gentle reminder that we get to buy a larger TV now. Aw-some.
For the record, I am perfectly fine with my TV. But I promised!

GO-CANUCKS-GO

Dress: Mantique (4 years ago), Cardi: Dynamite, Sandals: Lauren Conrad

Game 7 is tonight for the Canucks. Can you believe it? They blew a 3-0 lead in the series. Actually, I should say the officials blew a 3-0 lead for Canucks. Yes, that's better. If we win tonight, that TV up there is going to grow at least 15 inches.  I told B that if we make it to the next round we can buy a bigger TV.  He's very excited as you can see.
Take care!

Easy Peasy Easter Dessert

This is one of my most favourtist desserts on the planet, Zebra cake. My family has been making it since I was little. This is actually a good dessert to let your little ones make. You don't use anything sharp, nothing is hot and it's just plain fun for them (and me). I'd add sprinkles, but I didn't have any. Here tis:

 Mr. Christie Chocolate Wafers and Cool Whip Whipping Cream. I usually make my own whipping cream, but I don't have time today. I'm also using a casserole dish because I have to transport it later and I don't want it rolling onto my lap. Otherwise I would use a fancy flat dish.

Scoop whipping cream on wafer and stack.

 When it gets too wobbly to stack any longer, lay on the dish  and continue to stack.

  When the you have the amount you want, layer whipping cream all over the outside like so.

 Ta-da! This is what it'll looks like. See, super easy! Now, place in fridge for several hours. The longer you keep it in the fringe the better. The wafer adsorbs the whipping cream and makes it kind of cakey. When you're ready to serve it, make sure you cut it on an angle.
Enjoy and Happy Easter!

Thursday like Friday

Blazer: Dynamite, Shirt: Sissy gave it to me, Leggings: Garage, Flats/Necklace: Ardene, Bracelet: Gift/Tiffany's
This house we found on our lunch time stroll. I thought I had a photo of what the whole thing looked like, but I guess not! This house actually had these 3 Easter Baskets sitting on the front step like this. Strangest thing because this house is clearly abandoned. I was a weirdo and took photos in front of it.

Do you remember this guy? Or did you ever watch Breaker High the T.V show?

He was our waiter last night. I knew I recognized him from somewhere, but who knew it would be from Breaker High! I remember running home after school to watch this show! He was so dreamy back in the day.
Happy Easter everyone!

Wednesday

Top/skirt: Le Chateau, Tank: Smart Set, Tights/Leggings: Ardene, Shoes: Walmart
I couldn't think of a title today.
I am so full. I came home to Parmesan Chicken made and ready to indulge in as soon as I walked in the door. B told me to not eat until the "presentation" was done. I sat there patiently while he sprinkled parmesan on top. Ok tootsie pop, now you can eat it.  Not the healthiest meal in the world, but I'll eat almost anything B makes me. Even if I had like 35 mini eggs today.  He's so wonderful. Ok, I'll stop.
The Canucks were Can-nots last night. We lost big time! Boo.
Until tomorrow my friends!

Today was a good day until...

Cardi: Old Navy, Tank: Garage, Skirt: American Apparel, Shoes: Ardene, Ring: Priceless
 I went tanning and the one and only time I decide to take my ring off, (extremely sentimental - my dad got it for me when I was a teenager) forgot it on the shelf and left without it. I called 30 minutes later and they said they didn't find it. 30 MINUTES LATER!! Isn't that a bit strange? After all, they do know who went in after me.
Needless to say, I am very sad at this moment.
*UPDATE*
Apparently, I'm not demanding enough. As soon as I got off the phone with them, B was furious and called himself (they didn't answer as usual). I tried again and again inspired by his logic with the situation and got through. I told the lady there how important this ring was to me and that I was only gone for 15 minutes so she MUST have the name of the person who went directly after me. She said she'd look again and call me if she found it. 5 minutes later she called and said she had found it. Very suspicious I think!

To keep or not to keep

Jacket: Guess, Button Up:F21, Tank: Garage, Flats: Ardene

I had a hard time with this outfit yesterday. I felt fine in the morning when I left my house, but then I looked in the mirror at work around lunch time and it was like a bus hit me. Eeeewwww. Wasn't diggin' it anymore. I think it's the pants. To keep or not to keep? That is my question. I've had them for ages and they are so comfy. But maybe it's time to part with them, ya?
On another note, this is the view from my bosses office yesterday and this is what Vancouver can look like. Isn't it pretty?
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! B and I are off to hit some golf balls!

A new view

Dress and Top; F21, Flats and Tights/leggings: Ardene, Belt: Thrifted
Never done this before. HA-HA! Here's why I did:
1. Today I had a dentist appointment and it started pouring with rain as soon as I left the office;
2. It was sunny this morning so I wore flats;
3. As soon as I get off the Canada line there is wet SNOW pouring from the sky. My feet were soooooooaked by the time I got home. I wanted to cry for reals;
4. I didn't want to wait for honeycakes to get home to take pictures;
So you get to see a bit of my bedroom! Do you like my 80's picture on the wall? Does it make you dizzzzyyyy?

 Game one of the hockey playoff's are on this eve. I didn't wear my jersey because I can't wear it to work. Hockey here in Vancouver is kind of a big deal. Soo....GO CANUCKS GO!

Chirp chirp chiiiiiirrrrppp

 Top: F21, Leggings: Garage, Boots: GoJane, Watch: Gifted
My favourite thing to hear in the morning are little birdies outside chirping away. This tells me that we, (we being friends here in Vancouver) are inching closer and closer to summer. I can't wait to wear shorts and skirts with no leggings or tights underneath. Pack my boots away and bring out the sandals and flip-flips. Thank you to a few of my most fav bloggers Running on HappinessThe Honeybee  for bringing a little sunshine and warmth to my world. This winter and spring is taking foooorrrreeeeeevvvveeeeeerrrrrr.
Real Housewives time!
