I wore this outfit this past Friday. My pants were a topic of office conversation. Are they yellow? Or a greeny coloir? American Eagle says they are yellow, but I think they are a little colour blind =)
Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope you are having a great week so far!
I'm an auntie to the most perfect, adorable, unbelievable little boy. We finally got the got the call at 4:15 am Saturday morning (unfortunately my phone was turned off and B's was on vibrate so didn't pick up until then) and were out of the house by 4:30 am and at the hospital by 5:30 am. Thank god there's no traffic at that time.
I wasn't sure I would be able to handle being in the delivery room with my twin sister going through something so traumatic (we do have the "twin thing" where I can sometimes feel what she's going through or have some of the same symptoms, but I won't go into detail on what happened that day), but she wanted me to be so obviously I couldn't say no. I was huddled on a chair in the corner staring at the wall. I couldn't bare seeing what she was going through. I just wanted to make it all go away. I'm an extremely sensitive person. My mom and her husband were so great with her.
When it was almost time for him to make his way to the world, I moved over slightly and sat on a big ball, bouncing up and down on it beside her bed. Geezus, I have never seen or been through anything like that, like ever, and probably never will until it's my turn. I was sworn off having babies that day, but Sunday morning when I woke up and knew that I was going to see him later that day, I changed my mind. I definitely want one of my own and hope that my sister, my mom and B will be there too. I hope that I am as strongas my sister was. I hope I hope I hope.

I feel in love with these mary jane shoes when I saw them on Sincerely, Jules, and knew I had to have them (or similar). So I went down on my lunch break the other day and got them. I got two pairs. I have to say, for such cheap shoes they're very comfortable! B's not a huge fan. He says Mary Jane needs to take her shoes back. Oh dear he cracks me up. I am thinking outside the box with these shoes, but they're just so darn cute!
We, in Western Canada still have to wear jackets (lucky ducks you are in Eastern North America). However, it's getting warmer and warmer so we don't have to wear coats. We're in the in-between. So the trench is perfect for the springy, but still breezy weather we've been having over here.I am looking forward to shedding them all. I really don't like wearing jackets or coats at all.
Hope you're having a lovely weekend! We're getting a head start on moving so my weekend has been filled with packing boxes and getting rid of old memories. I'm really treating this move as a fresh start to my new adult life in the suburbs. Time to grow up!

Playoff fever has begun in Vancouver! Unfortunately, the Canucks lost to the LA Kings last night. While I love LA (one of my most favorite places on earth to visit and if I could live there I would), I do not favor their team. Obviously. I want Vancouver to win. This city is so much fun during the playoffs and I want them to go far.
For someone who suffers with anxiety, the playoffs do not help. But they are sooooo much fun!

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a fab Easter weekend! I sure did. I had a lovely 4 days off, but I'm not going to lie, by Monday I was bored. Daytime TV just ain't what it used to be!
I love this coral dress especially the color. But at the same time, it makes me a little sad. I've already picked, purchased and received my navy blue bridesmaids dresses and only after thought it would be the greatest idea to have Coral colored dresses. Corrall is going to be my new last name. Perfect right?

Are you tired of stripes yet! Told you you'd see a lot of them! Stripes stripes stripes I love stripes! I threw a photo of a tulip in there as well that my sweet soon to be mother in law gave me the other day. Flowers can seriously cheer anyone up. Even if they are already cheery. Like me. Tulips remind me that spring weather is coming! Hello Vancouver, it's uh spring time! You should be a little warmer!
And in case you didn't notice there on the left hand side of my blog page, I am back on the Facebook train! Choo choo! I'm not going to lie, it was a nice 6 month break from it. But it's good to be back. I'll have to spend a good half day creeping on friends photos I haven't seen yet! Even though I'd rather spend a half day looking at blogs. Blogging is just so much more interesting than Facebook.
Are you all on Facebook?

Hi everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Today, I feel like a Where's Waldo in this outfit. Although I am anything BUT blending in with these stripes. I definitely stand out in them! I love everything stripes right now. I snagged this striped top at Old Navy for $5 and this skirt from Forever 21 for $12!
